Tropical semi-formal: lightweight, colorful dresses or dressy separates for women; button-down shirts and lightweight slacks for men (jackets optional). The wedding will be on the beach, so please dress for it. Please choose footwear suitable for sand. Our priority is for you to feel comfortable and enjoy the ceremony. We do kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or sage green.

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on the beach. While February is not our rainy season, occasional showers can happen any time of the year—if needed, we have a covered backup plan in place so the celebration can continue comfortably.

It's beautiful — average highs are around 82°F with evening lows near 74°F. Humidity is generally low and rain is rare, though occasional cold fronts can drop highs into the 70s. We suggest that you bring a light wrap or jacket for the reception in case it's breezy. Ocean temps average about 79°F this time of year.

We kindly ask that you arrive by 4:00 pm. Everyone will be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony. Please allow extra time for traffic, especially if traveling from the west side of the island.

Yes, there will be shuttle buses running between our venue, reception location and the Reef Resort for hotel guests. If you're not staying at the Reef Resort, we highly recommend renting a car.

The reception location is a four minute walk from the wedding venue, but there will be a shuttle bus for those needing assistance.

Our reception will have open planned seating.  There will be no seating chart or assigned seating.

For travel from the U.S. you'll need a valid passport. No visa is required for U.S. citizens for short visits. If you're not a U.S. citizen, please check entry requirements for your nationality.

We want you to enjoy our beautiful island to the fullest, so we recommend that you pack reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 30+), a UV-blocking rash guard, a wide-brimmed hat, polarized sunglasses, and SPF lip balm. Lightweight, long-sleeve clothing is also helpful for extended time in the sun. Please note that we are much closer to the equator than the US, so we recommend sun exposure in moderation.

You do not need to exchange currency in Grand Cayman. The island operates a dual-currency economy where United States Dollars (USD) are widely accepted everywhere, and the Cayman Islands Dollar (KYD) is fixed to the USD at a constant rate of $1 USD = $0.82 KYD. Note that all change will be given in local currency. If you want local cash, the most convenient method is withdrawing KYD directly from local ATMs upon arrival.

Major credit cards are widely accepted across Grand Cayman for hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. Visa and Mastercard are accepted almost universally. Discover is hit or miss, while American Express is often not accepted at smaller venues or local businesses because of their higher merchant fees.

If you’re staying on the east side of the island, plan to drive to reach the larger shops. Note that Sundays are slow and many grocery stores and shops are closed.
